리소스 웨스트
매년 진행하는 '백 투 스쿨(Back to School)', '윈터 웜 웨어(Winter Warm Wear)', '토이 체스트(Toy Chest)' 등의 지역 사회 모금 활동으로 잘 알려진 이 지역 비영리 단체는 또한 식품 지원 센터, 주거 지원, 타 비영리 단체, 정부 서비스, 노인 부모를 위한 지원, 의료 서비스 등 다양한 자원에 대해 연간 9,000건 이상의 연계 서비스를 제공하고 있습니다.
개인 및 가족은 이 비영리 단체의 ‘프로젝트 스타피시(Project Starfish)’ 프로그램을 통해 맞춤형 지원을 받을 수 있으며, 구직 및 주택 탐색에 활용할 수 있는 컴퓨터, ‘릴레이트(Relate)’ 상담 서비스, 아동 치과 진료 서비스, 세금 신고 기간 중 세금 신고서 작성 및 기타 지원을 제공하는 ‘어카운터빌리티 MN(Accountability MN)’ 등 다양한 서비스를 이용할 수 있습니다.
리소스웨스트(ResourceWest)의 직원과 자원봉사자들은 서부 대도시권 지역 주민들의 요구를 경청하고, 이를 파악하여 보고한 뒤, 지역 기관들과 협력하여 해당 요구를 해결해 나가는 과정을 통해 지역 사회를 조성해 나가고 있습니다.

This blog features parenting reflections on topics addressed on the hit show Modern Family. Dr. Roxane Lehmann provides a brief synopsis of the show and shares tips for addressing similar situations within your own family.

myHealth for Teens and Young Adults
myHealth for Teens and Young Adults is a non-profit community organization that provides free and low-cost counseling, education, and confidential medical services to teenagers and young adults ages 12-23. Project SOAR
Project SOAR Lending Resource Library: This library is loaded with disability-related resources for use by staff, parents, students and the general community. It is located at the SOAR office in the MCE suite at the DSC. Stop by and browse anytime. Items are signed out on an honor system. Items include specific disability info, IEP and Special Education resources, parenting info, transition info and resources, curriculum for inclusion and social skills development and para-educational materials.
