Back-to-School Open House: Meet the Teacher and Strawbridge Picture Day
The open house will be held outdoors with no building access to classrooms. Masks are optional, as this is an outdoor-only event. Teachers will be at tables in tents, and social distancing protocols will be observed.
If we have rain on September 2, the open house will be virtual and your teacher will schedule a Google Meet. Picture Day will still be held on September 2, rain or shine.
Picture Day Details:
|Wednesday, Sept. 8||8:40 a.m.-3:20 p.m.||First Day of School (Grades 1-5)|
|Friday, Sept. 10||8:40 a.m.-3:20 p.m.||First Day of School (Kindergarten)|
If you ordered a school supply box for your student, it will be delivered to your child’s classroom next week. If you’re purchasing school supplies, please bring them to the back-to-school open house in a sealed paper bag clearly labeled with your student’s name/grade/teacher. Leave the school supplies with your teacher at his/her table, and they will be brought to your child’s classroom for you. If you’re unable to attend the open house, please have your child bring their school supplies with them on the first day of school.
Medication drop-off (front entrance vestibule)
Health Office staff will accept your medications on September 2, 8:00-11:00 at the front entrance. See here for important information about medications at school and required forms that must accompany your student's medication.
Calculators for Grades 2 and 3 are being sold online via the Webstore. Click here to purchase. Your child's calculator will be delivered to their classroom. 4th and 5th graders will use the calculator app on their iPads this year.
