The mission of Minnetonka’s Media program is to ensure that students and staff are effective users of ideas and information; to empower students to be critical thinkers, enthusiastic readers, skillful researchers, and ethical users of information. Certified media specialists work in each media center, providing a variety of services.

  • We instruct students and assist educators in using, evaluating, and producing information and ideas using a broad range of appropriate tools, resources, and information technologies.

    • All of our District's elementary schools have media centers equipped with computers, study space, and a diverse selection of literature to fit the taste, reading level and language needs of all students.
