Minnetonka Theatre Presents  Rodgers and Hammerstein’s The Sound of Music

The classic Rodgers and Hammerstein musical - the true story of the Von Trapp Family Singers - is the world’s most beloved musical and features a trove of cherished songs, including “Climb Ev’ry Mountain,” “My Favorite Things,” “Do-Re-Mi,” “Sixteen Going on Seventeen” and the title number.

The musical will star New York Actress Alison McCartan* as Maria. McCartan is an alumna of Minnetonka High School from the Class of 2008. The program is directed by Trent Boyum and Lauren Bartelt.

MHS Heart Week Raises $53k for Local Non-Profit

By hosting a benefit dinner, silent auction, musical telegrams, dress up days, a trivia night and more, Minnetonka High School Student Government supported Family Friends. “The organization not only provides financial support to Minnetonka students and families in need, but also accompanies them and empowers them as they navigate challenges of everyday life,” said Rebecca Johnson, Student Government advisor.
