The honor celebrates celebrates schools, teachers and community leaders for their strong efforts in supporting music education and integrating many diverse and advanced music classes into the school's core curriculum.

Students filled nearly 770 volunteer slots at more than 100 different sites across the west metro, applying their work ethic, creative talents and caring hearts to tackle a wide range of projects. 

This summer, Minnetonka Theatre celebrates 15 years of elementary school musicals by revisiting its very first production, Disney’s 101 Dalmatians KIDS, a musical based on the classic animated film, 101 Dalmatians. This production brings together fourth and fifth graders from all six elementary schools in the district.

On Thursday, June 4, the Minnetonka High School Class of 2026 celebrated its commencement at US Bank Stadium. 

On May 9, Minnetonka Schools hosted the Midwest Chinese Bridge Competition for students in grades K–6, welcoming competitors from across the Midwest. The event provided young learners with an opportunity to demonstrate their Chinese language skills and cultural knowledge.

As part of Minnetonka’s Homecoming Weekend, Minnetonka Public Schools and the Minnetonka Alumni Association will host their seventeenth annual Alumni Awards event on Saturday, September 26. Congratulations to this year's honorees!

This spring, Minnetonka Theatre is excited to present Monty Python’s Spamalot, a wildly funny retelling of the legend of King Arthur and the Knights of the Round Table, with a brilliantly irreverent twist. The show will run April 25-May 10.
